There are lots of places that offer student discounts so you can get educated and stay fit without breaking the bank (too much). As a student myself, I’m always looking for ways to save money. Take advantage of your student status to get discounts on these activities in LA.
The deal: $15 single classes, $128 for 10 classes
Liberation Yoga offers all styles of Hatha Yoga for any level of yogi. Utilize this awesome student discount to “Make peace with your body, make peace with your mind, make peace with the world, find Liberation.”
The deal: $18/class (but check with your local studio)
Flywheel sports offers stadium cycling and precision training. Cycling classes are high intensity and interval-based; precision training classes involve weights and drills to work your entire body. This discount is perfect if you’re an avid spin class-goer.
The deal: 10 classes for $185
CorePower Yoga offers varying classes from cardio and strength yoga to hot yoga to Vinyasa flow. The 10-class package has no expiration and you can use it at any of their 170 studios around the country.
The deal: $65/month
Rockreation is a climbing gym that offers bouldering, top-roping, auto-belay, and lead facilities, as well as a fitness area with yoga and fitness classes. If you’re an avid climber, this discount will definitely give you bang for your buck.
UCLA Marina Aquatic Center:
The deal: 2 free hours of kayak rental for UCLA students and $5 for an additional guest
The UCLA Marina Aquatic Center offers rentals for many water sports, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and windsurfer boards. This is such a great deal for anyone with a UCLA Bruincard – or friends of those with one.
LA county arboretum and botanic garden:
